You probably don’t agree with the statement above. But spend the next 1 minute reading this article and I will explain why we think Customers are the Key Stakeholders of every startup.
The customers don’t have to be positional leaders or investors to be key stakeholders but they control the direction a startup takes from its conception. To develop a successful product, the end consumers (customers) have to be considered all through the different phases of development. And even after a product is developed, there is always a need for feedback from the customers. Listening to feedback from your customers and taking quick and immediate action to implement the changes that come from considering their feedback says a lot about the startup/organisation’s commitment to serving their customers.
For example, when we first launched Dora for logistic business owners we included tools we thought would be beneficial to our customers. But as time went on, a need for a booking form was demanded by our customers. Because it was going to make the process of processing orders for their customers faster. And the Dora team went ahead and made provision for the booking form. After releasing the booking form, we are here wondering why we never thought of it in the beginning.
But I mean, how many things can we think about in the beginning of a project? As we continue to prioritize our customers and work towards making their life better with our products, progress is sure on this journey of growth.
Let’s learn to treat our customers like the stakeholders that they are. Prioritize their feedback and their thoughts They are the reason why we are here in the first place. If we must succeed, then we must give them our best and nothing less.
